CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN)......Local real estate investor Vick Singh Ghotra has added to his growing portfolio by acquiring the Vinecroft Retirement Community complex in Clarence.
Ghotra, through his 416Homes Inc. affiliate paid $6.25 million for the 66-unit complex at 5945 Vinecroft Drive.
Built in 2002, Vinecroft had been owned by the WNY Mennonite Retirement Community Inc.
Vinecroft has 44 apartments and 22 duplex, patio-style homes on its campus.
All are geared for independent, senior residents.
Residents must be at 62 years of age to move into Vinecroft, according to its web site.
Ghotra has a commercial real estate portfolio that includes apartments and commercial office buildings - mostly in suburban towns.
Ghotra is working with the Town of Amherst on developing a 70,000-square-foot self-storage center along Wehrle Drive.
