ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WBEN)......Former Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller has sold his Orchard Park house, netting almost what he paid for the opulent home four years ago.
And, in the Village of Williamsville - it recorded its first $1 million home sale of the year.
Together, the two deals marked the 78th and 79th private residences, this year in Erie County, to sell for more than the key $1 million-plus economic threshold within the region's residential real estate industry.
Miller sold his five-bedroom, 5,000-square-foot house for $1.1 million - almost exactly the $1.15 million he paid in 2002, shortly after signing with the Bills.
Built in 2000, the house at 16 Woodstream Trail sits in the tony Woodstream Trail subdivision.
Miller put the house on the market with a $1.95 asking price in March 2025, shortly after he was released by the Bills.
Miller, last season, played for the Washington Commanders and earlier this summer signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
The deal is the 24th house in Orchard Park, this year, to sell for more than $1 million.
Last year, Orchard Park had 17 homes sell for more than $1 million.
In the Village of Williamsville, a 102-year-old historic, four-bedroom house at 73 Oakgrove Drive sold for $1.2 million.
The deal marks the 13th house in Amherst or Williamsville to sell for above the $1 million-plus benchmark.
Erie County is pacing for 109 homes, this year, to sell for north of $1 million and that would set a new record, besting the 105 homes in Erie County that sold last year.
Since 2024, more than 300 homes have sold for more than $1 million.
