BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN).....In a flurry of commercial real estate deals, a Buffalo industrial site was sold to new investors while another out-of-town REIT acquired a key Orchard Park parcel.
And, the Hertel Avenue building that houses Terrapin Station has new owners.
The deals:
* Investors Walden Avenue Properties LLC paid $2.9 million for a sprawling industrial site that extends from 745 Walden Avenue to 753 Walden Avenue near the Buffalo/Cheektowaga municipal line.
Largely vacant, the property is anchored by 13,200-square-foot building that was constructed in 1960.
The property had been owned by investors 753 Walden Avenue Associates LLC.
* A building at 3030 Union Road in Orchard Park and anchored by a KeyBank branch has also landed new owners.
Investors Madrone & Co. LLC paid $1.82 million for the 4,300-square-foot bank branch.
KeyBank is remaining as the building's sole tenant.
KeyBank has a long term lease for the building.
The building had been owned by 3030 Union Road Partners LLC.
* The 1172 Hertel Avenue building - the long time home to Terrapin Station - has a new owner.
Hertel Holdings LLC paid $920,000 for the circa 1928-era, 9,000-square-foot building.
Terrapin Station remains as the anchor tenant.
