Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Erie County Sheriff's Air 1 helicopter assisted Buffalo Police with an illegal gun arrest early Sunday morning.
Police responded to Dorris Avenue in Buffalo around 2:30 a.m. for a report of multiple armed men at a home. The Sheriff's Office says one man was spotted by Air 1 carrying a gun in his right hand.

The suspect, 44-year-old Tony Redfern of Buffalo, has been charged with second and third degree criminal possession of a weapon.
