Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - Mission Give Where You Live is back on WBEN this holiday season to help the Buffalo City Mission keep our communities most vulnerable population clothed, warm, and cared for this winter.
This year, WBEN is bringing you the 12 Days of Giving. The goal is to help stock the City Mission with their 12 most needed items.
"We're looking for the normal winter items like coats, gloves, and good winter boots," said City Mission Director of Development Amanda Wolanske.
Each day, WBEN will highlight a needed item and provide a link to purchase that item online, along with any of the 12 most needed items.
"The winter weather adds a whole other level of survival to anybody who spends a long time outdoors," Wolanske said. "It can be incredibly dangerous, even life threatening. Having these extra clothes just to be outside is truly essential."
You can find the entire list of the 12 most needed items, and help the City Mission keep our community warm, HERE.
