Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - WBEN Program Director and Operations Manager Tim Wenger and Janet Snyder, longtime co-host of Janet & Nick in The Morning on KISS 98.5, will be inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in September.

The BBA announced its Hall of Fame Class of 2023 Wednesday.


Wenger began his career at WBEN back in 1986, after graduating from Oswego State University.

Over the years, Tim worked both in front of the microphone and behind the scenes. He flew in the WBEN Trafficopter, worked as a news reporter and anchor. He has helped the station transition to a live and local news and talk format.

Janet Snyder is a graduate of Ithaca College. She made history as the first woman to lead a morning show in Buffalo. Janet has assisted many local charities including the KISS Cares for Kids Radiothon to benefit Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo.

The full class of 2023 BBA Hall of Fame inductees includes:

-WGRZ-TV weather anchor Maria Genero,
-WKSE-FM morning host Janet Snyder,
-retired radio disc jockey and programmer Jerry Reo,
-WIVB-TV art director Kurt Murphy
-WBEN/WGR/WKBW operations manager Tim Wenger

The Buffalo Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame dinner will be held Thursday, September 21 at Samuel's Grande Manor in Williamsville.
