Western Regional OTB releases details of Byron Brown's contract

Brown will receive a minimum base salary of $295,000, with bonuses of $10,000 each year of his three-year contract

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Western Regional Off-Track Betting (OTB) has released details Wednesday of Byron Brown's new contract as the new president and CEO of the corporation.

As Brown stated before leaving office as Mayor of Buffalo, his new contract with Western Regional OTB will be a three-year deal. The starting pay for Brown will be $295,000, with a $10,000 bonus in each year of his contract. That means he will make $315,000 in his last year of the contract in 2027.

His contract goes into effect as of January 2025 and will expire at the end of December 2027.

In addition, Brown's contract sees him with an $800 per-month car allowance. Brown said he will remain in the City of Buffalo while serving in his new role with Western Regional OTB, which is headquartered in Batavia.
