Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The widow of fallen Buffalo firefighter Jason Arno visited with members of her husband's firehouse at Engine No. 2 Friday evening. Sarah Arno then went with firefighters to visit the scene at 745 Main Street where her husband lost his life in the line of duty battling flames Wednesday.

"A lot of members of Engine 2's crew, a lot of other firefighters and civilians came by to pay their respects," said Buffalo Fire Commissioner William Renaldo Saturday. "Sarah spent a good amount of time at Engine 2, interacting with all our firefighters, meeting with the members of Engine No. 2."

Arno's remains were transported from ECMC to Amigone Friday afternoon in an emotional procession that saw firefighters line the street and salute.

Funeral arrangements for Jason Arno, 37, have been released. A wake will be held at Amigone Funeral Home on Delaware Avenue at W. Ferry Thursday from 2pm to 8p and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joseph's Cathedral in downtown Buffalo at 10am Friday. The service will be open to the public.
