Niagara Falls, N.Y. (WBEN) - Niagara Falls Police responded to the call on Tuesday of a vehicle that crashed through a hotel and ended up in its pool.
At approximately 11:30 a.m. EST, police received the call of a 61-year-old woman operating a 2015 Lexus that crashed through the Courtyard by Marriott at 900 Buffalo Avenue. It is said the woman accidentally accelerated through the building and into the swimming pool.
Hotel personnel assisted in the removal of the occupants from the vehicle. The driver and her three-year-old passenger were evaluated by AMR and the Niagara Falls Fire Department. They were unharmed and did not require further medical attention.
There was significant damage to the building, which was assessed by city inspectors.
