Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A Buffalo woman has been charged for her alleged role in an October homicide.
Detectives have arrested 29-year-old Latrice Purdie, saying Purdie shot and killed 39-year-old Akeem Cortez at Wade and Holden at around 6 p.m. EST on the night of Oct. 30. Cortez died at the scene after suffering several gunshot wounds.
Purdie has been charged with second degree murder. She was arraigned Monday, and is being held without bail.
She faces 25 years-to-life in prison, if convicted of the charge against her.
