Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) The world’s largest duck is coming back to Buffalo’s waterfront for the July Fourth holiday weekend.
The 6-stories-tall, bright yellow inflatable known as “Mama Duck” is scheduled to be at Canalside from July 3 through July 5, organizers told WBEN. ‘Mama’ is also bringing along her 10-foot-tall baby duck, Timmy, as part of the waterfront display.
This year, the duck will be displayed on land rather than on the water, as it was during its previous visit.

Canalside will also feature special duck-themed programming throughout the weekend, including face painting, sidewalk chalk artists, patriotic mini duck giveaways, live music, and food and beer trucks.
The giant duck drew huge crowds when it last appeared in Buffalo in 2016. At the time, local reports said Buffalo police estimated at least 50,000 people visited the waterfront attraction.
