History was made for women in sports last week when a Laguna Beach teenager became the first female in California to score multiple touchdowns in a high school football game.

Running back Bella Rasmussen, 18, is a Laguna Beach High School senior. She scored two touchdowns during her team’s Friday game against Godinez Fundamental High School.

Rasmussen became the eighth girl to score a touchdown in a varsity football game in California. But, on Friday, she etched her name into the record books being the only one to score twice, Cali-Hi Sports reported.

The Los Angeles Rams hosted Rasmussen at So-Fi stadium on Sunday to celebrate the achievement.
