
Police in Picayune, Mississippi arrested a man during a traffic stop after he attempted to hide a gun from the officers.
His choice of hiding spot? His lunch, a quesadilla from Taco Bell.
According to NBC DFW, officers noticed passenger Devin P. Mitchell stuffing the gun into his Taco Bell bag, which prompted them to conduct a search of the vehicle.
The gun was found pretty easily, folded into the tortilla of the quesadilla, but officers also found methamphetamine, liquid heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
Mitchell was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of weapon by a felon, and possession of paraphernalia.
The driver, Olivia Neff, was charged with disregarding a traffic device but was not taken into custody.
