Pipe bombs found in man's car during traffic stop

FENTON, Mo. (KMOX) - A Lemay man pulled-over for following a school bus too-closely Thursday afternoon in Fenton now faces a weapons-related charge.

St. Louis County Police say 28-year-old David Taylor had two pipe bombs in the center console of his pick-up truck.

Investigators say Taylor admitted buying them and knew they contained potentially-dangerous material.

He's charged with one count of unlawful possession of an explosive weapon.

Bond is set at $50,000 cash only.
