NEW YORK (WBEN) — Late-night talk show hosts including Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon took aim at Gov. Andrew Cuomo Tuesday night — hours after the lawmaker said he would step down from his post amid allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct.

Here’s how each of the shows handled the governor’s resignation:

THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT

“Beautiful day here in New York City. 85 degrees, 75% humidity, and this afternoon, Andrew Cuomo resigned,” Colbert said. “Don’t let the door hit you on the butt on the way out. But if it does, that door should also resign.”

“Evidently, he gave himself two weeks notice,” he added, referring to the 14-day window during which the governor will remain in office.

Jimmy Kimmel was still on his summer break Tuesday night, so guest host David Spade took a dig at Cuomo instead.

“It’s my last show filling in for Jimmy. Then I’m hitting up the Hooters down the street with Andrew Cuomo,” Spade said. “He’s texted me. He’s got time.”

LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS

“New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced today that he will resign, amid multiple allegations of sexual harassment. And this is, frankly, amazing. He made the announcement via book,” Meyers said, while flashing a mock-up of a fake book titled “Stepping Down.”

“So tune in to CNN tonight for, I don’t know, a rerun of the ‘History of the Sitcom,’” he added, in a jab at Cuomo's CNN-anchor brother, Chris Cuomo.

THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON

“Well guys, it was a big day here in New York, as Andrew Cuomo announced that he is resigning as governor. During his remarks, he said it was best that he step aside,” he said. “And then every woman in the room took two steps aside.”
