Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - After the snow Sunday, it's the stunning cold that has Western New Yorkers wondering, 'Where's spring?'
Winter Storm Warnings have been replaced with Winter Weather Advisories across the southern tier and in Orleans County.
Several inches of snow fell across the Boston Hills Sunday and snow accumulated across the metro Buffalo area as well as snow squalls meandered across the region Sunday and overnight into Monday.
Temperatures dipped into the teens early Monday and it will remain unseasonably cold through midweek before a Thursday warm-up that sees temps rise to 60.
"We're going to start to warm up a little on Tuesday and then a lot when we get into the middle part of the week." Temperatures in the 60's by Thursday are in the forecast, says National Weather Service meteorologist Kirk Apfel.
