ORCHARD PARK (WBEN) - It was teased for more than a week, but on Wedensday afternoon, Governor Cuomo officially announced that 6,772 fans will be allowed to attend the Bills' first home playoff game in 25 years.

"This is another Christmas present for the Bills and our fans, so we're very excited about having the fans here," said Bills Vice President of Operations & Guest Experience Andy Major.

However, entrance to Bills Stadium hinges upon a negative COVID-19 test result, and the testing, as well as the ticket-purchasing setup has caused a lot of questions.

The best tool interested Bills fans can use to answer some of their questions is this link, which was shared on social media by the team directly following the announcement.

As for some of the basic information, tickets will not be made available to the general public for purchase, but for Bills season ticket members who opted into purchasing tickets earlier this year (roughly 13,000), and then from there, the purchasing windows will be based on account seniority.

Club season ticket members will receive an email with a select time to go online and select club tickets on Thursday, December 31, while non-club season ticket members will receive an email to select tickets on Friday, January 1.

Ticket prices will range from $65 per ticket to $330 per ticket, but those prices don't include a $63 per ticket testing fee and an $11 parking charge per ticket. All test fees will be non-refundable once a test is taken, and game tickets will be non-transferable.

As for testing, "only ticket holders who test and can provide proof of a NEGATIVE test via BioReference Laboratories at Bills Stadium will be allowed to attend the game...results from any other testing center will not be accepted."

The test will be administered at Bills Stadium two to three days prior to the game, and instructions about testing will be sent in an email after the confirmation of ticket purchase. A missed test will lead to forfeiture of the ticket.

"As much as the fans want to be at our game, our players, our coaches and our team, they want to have some support at our home Bills Stadium as well," said Major. "I think it's great that we're finally going to have a few fans here and have a little support for our team."
