Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Passers by in Delaware Park have been shocked in recent days, taking note of visible graffiti vandalism to the Statue of David.
The Buffalo Police Department is currently investigating vandalism of the replica statue of Michelangelo's David that sits proudly within Delaware Park.
According to a Buffalo Police spokesman, suspects covered the base of the statue with black spray paint.
City parks crews are working now to remove the graffiti.
