Kim Kardashian is firing back at "grown adults" who are questioning the authenticity of daughter North West’s latest art creation.
The social media star and mother of four recently shared a photo to her Instagram Story of an impressive landscape painting that was completed by her 7-year-old daughter. Kardashian, 40, called North “a little artist," People Magazine reported.
Followers on social media were quick to question whether the painting was something a 7-year-old was capable of creating and pointed out that the finished product resembled the style of late artist and television personality Bob Ross.
"i'm supposed to go but i can't stop thinking about how north west did not paint this," wrote one Twitter user. The message was later shared on Kardashian's Instagram Story with the username blocked out.
"DON'T PLAY WITH ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY CHILDREN!!!" Kardashian responded in a lengthy post. "My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured."
"North worked incredibly hard on her painting which took several weeks to complete," she continued. "As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone."
The SKIMS creator hit back at adults who have questioned her daughter’s credibility.
“I’m seeing op-ed pieces in the media and social media from grown adults breaking down whether or not my child actually painted this! How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome!?!?!”
Kardashian finished her angry statement saying, “Please stop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be GREAT!!!”
Kardashian and husband Kanye West share four kids, daughters North and Chicago, aged 7 and 3, and sons Saint and Psalm, aged 5 and 21 months.
Recently, there have been mulitple reports that the couple have been undergoing marital problems and may be on the verge of divorce.
