
Apple announced a slew of new products and upgrades in a pre-recorded livestream event on Tuesday, including changes to its low-cost iPhone SE.

To kick things off, Apple CEO Tim Cook talked about the new movies coming to Apple TV Plus, and the addition of adding sports to the streaming service, including Friday Night Baseball.
Next, Cook, revealed two new green finishes for its iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, one referred to as "alpine" green. People can begin preordering on Friday, March 11, and they'll arrive March 18.
Cook then discussed Apple Silicon and the A15 Bionic chip in iPhone 13, which will now be included in the iPhone SE, which has made it 1.8 times faster than the iPhone 8. The iPhone SE is the company's low-cost alternative to other models. Now it will have new glass, supposedly the "toughest glass on a smartphone." The more affordable phone starts at $429 and is also available for preorder on Friday.

Moving on to the iPad, Apple said the new upgrade with the M1 chip has increased performance by 60%. The iPad Air will now also have the M1 chip. The iPad Air starts at $599 and preorders also start on Friday.
For computers, Apple has launched a new version of the M1 chip, dubbed Ultra, which is reportedly helps desktops run at much faster speeds and increases performance. The company is emphasizing how helpful this new chip will help people who work with design programs, like Adobe.
The company unveiled a new Mac desktop computer, Mac Studio, which the company said will "completely transform" studio work.
With M1 Max or M1 Ultra, the new Mac Studio significantly outperforms previous Mac iterations.
The Mac Studio Display screen itself is 27 inches, coated with an anti-reflective, and the view can be changed to a more natural coloring. A good portion of the screen's elements are made from recycled materials.
The Mac Studio Display screen is starting at $1,599, the Mac Studio with M1 Max starts at $1,999, the Mac Studio with M1 Ultra starts at $3,999, with preorders available to start on Tuesday.
An upgraded Mac Pro is set to be announced at a later date.
