"As you can see, we've closed off every other stall," began Town Councilman Bill Conrad. "There is a line system where people will go up to a booth - they'll pay their fee and get their token - and then they'll go up to the machine and get their balls out here.

"The restrooms are closed right now," Conrad continued. "We can't maintain that, as we know a big spread of Covid is the bathroom."

State Assemblyman Sean Ryan says it's great to see a recreationally-focused business be able to open its doors to help the residents of the region begin to do things they actually want to do again.

"We want more of this," said Ryan. "We all know Phase I is undergoing, and a big part of Phase I is recreational activities...this is the best driving range plan that we've seen - this can be a model to other public and private operators.

"The number-one priority here was making sure people are safe and giving them a recreational outlet, so come on out and enjoy a safe experience."
