The next time you're in the beer aisle, you might notice something that looks like it belongs in the 1940s. That's because Budweiser is selling new military heritage cans now through Veterans Day.

These limited edition cans are the St. Louis-based company's latest way to honor the men and women who have served in the US military. For every case of heritage cans sold, they'll donate $1 to Folds of Honor, nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to families of fallen and disabled service members.
Since the beginning of its decade-long partnership, Budweiser has donated $18 million, equating to over 3,600 scholarships for military dependents served by Folds of Honor.

"We found that one of the most interesting relics from WWII is Budweiser’s olive drab cans that were specially created for military members serving overseas, and they’ve since become a memento and piece of history from that time, honoring those who served," a Budweiser representative stated.
Budweiser's military heritage 12oz cans are available in packs of 24 and 30.
The company also sells t-shirts, hats, a pin, patch, LED neon sign and more gear that pay homage to the classic design. Throughout Anheuser-Busch's history, more than 5,500 employees have served in the military and 1,500 current employees across the country are veterans.
