Amherst, N.Y. (WBEN) - To celebrate National Pasta Day, Chef's iconic restaurant in Buffalo opened their new Chef's "On the Go" location Thursday in the Williamsville Place Plaza, at 5483 Sheridan Drive in Amherst.

Brother and sister owners Lou and Marybeth Billitier say the motto at the new location is quick, fast, but quality service.

"You don't even have to get out of your car," said Lou Billitier. "We have a pick up window. You can use our new app, call in your order or order at the counter."

Multiple people told me they have no idea how the spaghetti parm is made. So I stared at the chef and took specific notes. #Journalism pic.twitter.com/RjqdwnVnTJ

There is indoor seating for about 60 customers.  All food is served in to-go containers.

Lou Billitier said customers will notice similarities with the Seneca Street restaurant. "There are celebrity pictures on the wall and an open kitchen, but there's no wait staff.  You do everything on your own. Everything is in a takeout container with plastic silverware."  All containers are microwavable and reusable.

The App is brand new."We're hoping everybody downloads the app," said Billitier. "You can order on the app, pay on the app, come through and you're on your way."
