
NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WBEN) - Four more people have died in Niagara County, bringing the current death toll to nine.
The four people who died include a 92-year-old woman, 80-year-old man, a 92-year-old man, and a 31-year-old man. All of the elderly people who died had an underlying health condition. However, the 31-year-old did not have one.

There are 99 people who have recovered from coronavirus. However, 121 are still battling the disease and 25 people are currently hospitalized.

Hospitalizations and incubations are trending downwards statewide, though Niagara County is not yet seeing that trend. Wydysh said Niagara County is lagging behind the downstate region by a couple of weeks.
"Keep following those guidelines and know what we're doing is working but we have to continue that process," she said.
