Melania Trump is jumping on the cryptocurrency bandwagon.
The wife of the former president announced she will be selling a non-fungible token (NFT) of watercolor art that highlights her “cobalt blue eyes,” reported Bloomberg.

In a statement, the former first lady’s office said the first NFT is entitled “Melania’s Vision” by French artist Marc-Antoine Coulon “and embodies Mrs. Trump’s cobalt blue eyes, providing the collector an amulet to inspire.”
The digital artwork will be available for purchase between December 16 and December 31, 2021 for one SOL, a cryptocurrency that is approximately $180.
Whoever winds up purchasing the NFT will also get an audio recording featuring a “message of hope” from Melania.
This isn’t a one-off, as the former model is launching an entire platform on her official website which will release NFTs on an interval basis.
"I am proud to announce my new NFT endeavor, which embodies my passion for the arts, and will support my ongoing commitment to children through my Be Best initiative," the 51-year-old said in a statement. "Through this new technology-based platform, we will provide children computer science skills, including programming and software development, to thrive after they age out of the foster community."
Melania also plans to hold an auction “of historical importance” in January 2022 that will include digital and physical artwork, as well as a “physical one-of-a-kind accessory.”
Some of the money from the sales of the items will good towards doing good as “a portion of proceeds from the Melania Trump NFT collection will assist children aging out of the foster care system by way of economic empowerment and with expanded access to resources needed to excel in the fields of computer science and technology," according to the press release.
As CNN noted, this is Melania’s first public endeavor since leaving the White House on January 20th.
