A memorial service for Jamie Samuelsen will be held Tuesday Aug. 11 at 11 a.m.

While the funeral is private due to COVID-19, it will be live-streamed to the public at the following link: https://venue.streamspot.com/496e2c1e

A larger celebration open to the public will be arranged at a later date.

Jamie passed away last Saturday after a 19-month battle with colon cancer. He asked his listeners to do one thing for him during his final appearance on 97.1 The Ticket: get a colonoscopy before the age of 50. Many have listened.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to Colorectal Cancer Alliance or PALtown, the fundraising arm of Colontown, an amazing patient advocate group run by cancer survivors that was of great help to Jamie and his wife Christy during his battle.
Read Jamie's obituary here. In the words of Christy, he was "a man who made everyone feel like a friend."

Jamie's memorial is set for Tues August 11th at 11am. Because of COVID it will be small & private, but join us by livestream... https://t.co/0YJiO7xWCc In the future, we'll have a big public celebration and raise many gimlets in his name. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/u9bkjyzVia
