NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A new booking photo of Derek Chauvin was released Wednesday morning, a day after the former Minneapolis police officer was convicted of murdering George Floyd.

The photo from the Minnesota Department of Corrections shows Chauvin in an orange jumpsuit Tuesday evening.

Chauvin is being held at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Oak Park Heights ahead of his sentencing.

A jury found Chauvin guilty Tuesday of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in Floyd's May 2020 death.

Chauvin, 45, was immediately led away in his handcuffs and his bail revoked after his conviction. He faces decades in prison when he’s sentenced in two months.
