The Bush family has welcomed its newest (and tiniest) member.
On Saturday, former president George W. Bush, 75, and Laura Bush, 74, shared their first photo with granddaughter Cora Georgia just days after her birth.

According to the Instagram post, Barbara Bush welcomed the little one on September 27, 2021, with husband Craig Coyne. The two tied the knot in 2018 and kept the pregnancy under wraps, per People.
"With full hearts, @laurawbush and I are delighted to announce the birth of our new granddaughter," the 43rd president of the United States captioned the celebratory photo.
The proud grandfather explained that Barbara gave birth in Maine, adding that it was “not far from our family home where Barbara and Craig were married.”
“Cora is healthy and adorable, and we are proud and grateful,” he concluded.
The former first lady also shared the image with her followers on her own Instagram page.
Barbara’s twin sister, Jenna Bush, shared the exciting news on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.
"She gave birth at the hospital named after my grandmother, named after her namesake," Jenna announced.
Jenna revealed that she was worried when her sister went into labor prematurely, but explained that her father calmed her down.
"One of the things that I think is so cool about my parents is all my dad wrote back to the text: 'God is good,'" she said, adding, "And it all of a sudden calmed me. I was kind of frantic. I was nervous."
Cora's middle name “Georgia” is a tribute to her grandfather and great-grandfather, People revealed. She will have plenty of cousins on-hand for playtime as Jenna is a mom to Mila, 8, Poppy, 6, and Hal, 2.
Shortly after Cora Georgia made her entrance into the world, Jenna wrote a sweet letter on Instagram.
"Dearest Cora Georgia," she began.
"Today is the day I got to meet my most beautiful, precious, feisty, niece (a bit earlier than we expected!) I witnessed in awe as my dearest, toughest @barbara.p.bush became a mama. And today is the day I fell in love! Some cousins are anxiously waiting to play with you, but not just yet love,” she continued.
She signed the post “auntie j.”
