Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris joined the Midday Show ahead of their match-up against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football.
It will be the first NFC South team the Falcons will see this season. However, it would be the first time the would see Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey.
McCaffrey returned to the practice field on Monday for the first time in five weeks. The dynamic running back suffered a high ankle sprain back in Week 2 but has since been eligible to come off the injured reserve list after missing three games.
With McCaffrey's status still up in the air, is there a different type of game plan the Falcons have just in case he does play?
"When you talk about a guy as talanted and as great of a player as Christian McCaffrey, you better have something up your sleeve or be ready to deal for when he comes up," Coach Morris said.
"He's one of those guys that you're not necessarily going to stop but you better have a way to limit, you better have a way to slow down and you better have an answer if it gets out of control."
