The former Panthers and Saints Safety turned SEC Network Analyst joined Kyle Bailey on the Clubhouse today to give a preview of this Sunday's matchup between the Saints and Panthers.
The first big topic that Roman covered was how big of a deal it is for the Saints to get Michael Thomas back this weekend as Roman told Kyle:
"It seemed like Drew and Emmanuel finally found a rhythm against the Chargers, but getting back one of the best receivers in the game certainly doesn't hurt, but with Thomas New Orleans has continued to struggle when it has come to downfield throwing and they look like a very beatable team."
Roman said that he thinks the best matchup will be Dennis Allen's defense against Joe Brady's offense as Roman says the Panthers offense is almost a mirror of the Saints offense and Roman thinks that Teddy needs to push the ball down the field against the Saints defense.
When it came to the Panthers defense as he weighed in on Jeremy Chinn as he said doesn't understand the Panthers scheme defensively and Jeremy's as he doesn't think it's a clear picture right now, but knows Chinn is going to be good in the long haul because of the way he is already all around the ball and playing hard.
