NYPD posted the video Monday, which was taken on Aug. 27 on Flatbush Avenue near Atlantic Terminal.
The video begins with the officer reaching into a parked vehicle and taking the 2-year-old boy into his arms.
Police said Officer DeLeon, who is part of the department’s 78th Precinct, quickly administered CPR while family members looked on.
Soon after, the child begins to cry.
“He’s crying, so he’s breathing,” DeLeon told the family.
The reason for the child becoming unconscious is unknown. Police did not provide the officer’s first name.
