Jesse Addy is a familiar voice on the radio in the Tri-State, having hosted the afternoon show on 94.7 for nearly a decade. It turns out he's been around Radio studios his entire life. Growing up with a father who worked as an On-Air Personality for Rock stations in Dallas and Detroit, Jesse caught the radio bug early. “My 5th Grade Career Day report featured me reading a Bruce Springsteen setlist that came in on the AP Wire while I was at work with my dad.”
Growing up one town over from Madonna, he planned on working in the other family business of teaching and coaching. In fact, the local football field is named after his Grandfather! While hosting his own Radio shows in high school and college, Jesse realized that maybe he could make a career out of his hobby. That decision led him to places like South Carolina, Detroit, Atlanta and eventually New York City! He has a few loves in life: his Michigan State Spartans, the entire catalog of The Cure, Tal Bagels on the UWS, and most of all his better half…Stacey!
Whether it's a concert at Jones Beach or PNC, a game at The Garden, tailgating at Met Life, you've probably run into Jesse Addy over the last decade plus. If not, then look around! That head is pretty easy to spot
