The White Castle Building Number 8 in Minneapolis is being put up for lease by building owner Pat Fitzgerald. The legendary fast-food building is now an antique shop but, once leased, can be used for different uses. Fitzgerald says she is open to different uses, but won't allow it to be a burger shop in respect to the history of the building

The 1700 square foot building on 33rd and Lyndale is being leased for $2750.00 per month. It boasts a large parking lot, green space and C1 zoned lot. According to the Craigslist posting it also has black rubber flooring and the walls are gallery white. The lower level is indy stained concrete flooring with a private access door, a full bath with shower, a separate utility room with a big sink and a separate mechanical room with storage space.

The 28 by 28 building was prefabricated by the fast-food restaurant in 1926. The building had been moved two times before finding it's final home in Uptown in 1984. The building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
