Minnesota’s daily coronavirus report is stable on Monday, a day after a record number of new cases was announced.
Minnesota state health department officials report an additional 29 cases between Sunday and Monday. The daily report also showed no additional deaths from coronavirus in Minnesota, the number remaining at 70. This is the first time since March 25th that there have been no new deaths reported. Also staying the same is the number of patients who have recovered, which is 842.

Between Saturday and Sunday, the number of laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus in Minnesota shot up by more than 100, the only time the one-day increase has reached triple digits in the state.Coronavirus cases are reported in 70 of Minnesota’s 87 counties.
There have been 38,427 tests performed on suspected coronavirus cases in Minnesota, putting the state’s test-positive rate at less than 5%.
