Crews showed up to a house in flames early this morning, where sheriff's officials were confronted by an armed man who was holed up in a horse trailer behind the home. Anoka County Sheriff's Lieutenant Andy Knotz said the incident ended when the suspect killed himself.
"Negotiations continued with this individual who was barricaded in the trailer. Shortly before 10 am this morning they heard a single gunshot. They later made entry and found one adult male who was deceased inside of that trailer."
Knotz says the man, who law enforcement has had contact with in the past, was the only one on the property this morning. His name has not been released.
