Just a few weeks after the last heavy snowfall, it's finally Opening Day at Target Field.
"I come every year," Rachel Isola said. "And I live in Hawaii."
"I've been a die-hard Twins fan for years," David Berndt of Brookings, S.D., said.
"Events like this bring us together so that's why I like to come out and support," Valley Seward said.

A big crowd of fans came out as early at 6 a.m. Thursday mornig for the annual Breakfast on the Plaza for hot dogs and coffee -- a combination on;y suitable for Opening Day.
Team President and CEO Dave St. Peter says he expects the young core to continue to improve this season.
"Rocco Baldelli is our manager who we think is the right guy over the long term to help us unlock talent, and maximize the opportunity to hopefully put us not just in contention for the American League Central, but but ultimately position us to play for the World Championships," St. Peter said. "We think 2019 should be another year to take a significant step forward toward becoming that perennial contender."
Gates open at 1 p.m. Kent Hrbeck and Tony Oliva will be making appearances at their respective namesake gates pregame. Casey Killebrew (Harmon Killebrew's grandson) will be at Gate 3, Tom Kelly ay Gate 29 and Kirby Puckett Jr. and Catherine Puckett at Gate 34. The national anthem will be sung by Har Mar Superstar and Justin Morneau will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
