Former White House Press Secretary Anthony "The Mooch" Scaramucci took his increasingly direct criticisms of his former boss to new heights Friday, comparing the president to a villain from an HBO series who commands a zombie army.

When asked by News Talk 830 WCCO host Chad Hartman why more Republicans had not joined his criticisms of President Donald Trump, Scaramucci said the "cyber bully in chief" had intimidated his conservative critics into silence.

"What he's done is he's created this sort of Night King, from The Game of Thrones, hold on these people, because they're paralyzed in fear that they're going to get primary-ed or lose their position or lose their Secret service detail and he's fired 75 or 80 people and all of this sort of stuff," Scaramucci said. "And so he's got the entire nation's capitol paralyzed in fear."

Scaramucci, who currently hosts a Radio.com podcast with his wife, "Mooch and the Mrs," also weighed in on Trump's chances for reelection in 2020, saying he thinks that Trump would lose against former Vice President Joe Biden or another moderate Democrat. While he argued that Trump would likely win against more progressive candidates like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, he couldn't be sure of that either.

"I also think, God forbid, President Trump could go down in history as the person that created the first socialist President, because he's in, as I've said, heavy mental decline," Scaramucci said. "He takes no one's counsel but himself.  He is sending out racially charged tweets, and he is trying to racially divided the country."
