The Twins lost their second game in a row to the New York Yankees last night, and have lost seven of their last 10, cutting their once double digit lead against the Cleveland Indians to two games.
But 830 WCCO host Cory Hepola isn't worried, and he doesn't think you should be either.
"I don't care what happened last night. I don't care that the Twins lost to the Yankees... not worried," Hepola said at the top of his 9-noon show. "All this past week told me is that the Twins, they're as good as any team in the majors."
His argument: The Twins are playing their worst baseball of the season, and yet went toe-to-toe with the league's two hottest teams. First, they split their series with As, then narrowly lost (and probably should have won) their series with the Yankees, arguably the best team in baseball at the moment.
