High drama in courtroom during Noor trial

Day nine of the Mohammed Noor murder trial starts Monday, following what was the most emotional day of testimony.

Jurors watched video taken not long after Justine Ruschyk Damon was shot by Mohammed Noor.

The video, showing efforts to revive Damon while she was dying, was projected on the courtroom screen while Noor's parnter, Matthew Harrity, was on the stand.

Harrity testified that he felt a danger when a silhouette appeared outside their squad car the night of July 15, 2017. He  became emotional while explaining how he felt it would have been premature to use deadly force in that situation.

Harrity was driving the squad car that night when he and Noor responded to a call in south Minneapolis about a possible sexual assault.

Defense attorneys argue Noor was acting in self-defense when he fired his gun from the passenger's side of a police car through the driver's side door, hitting the unarmed woman.

There is no testimony on Friday because of the Good Friday holiday observance.
