Following news that Best Buy, Walmart, Kohl's and other stores will require masks or face coverings, Minneapolis-based Target is following suit.
Beginning August 1st, all Target shoppers will be required to wear a mask when entering their stores. It does exclude those with "underlying medical conditions and young children." Target does say a mask will be provided for shoppers who don't have one at store entrances.
Also announcing they will require masks is the drug chain CVS. Their policy begins July 20th.

— CVS Pharmacy (@cvspharmacy) July 16, 2020The news comes as COVID-19 cases continue to rise around the country, and with health care provides struggling with how to contain the spread of the virus.

Meanwhile, Governor Walz is seriously considering a statewide mask mandate as cities and businesses continue to make their own policies. Some businesses are calling for the mandate to take the pressure off enforcing their own policy.
