I-35W protestors begin to clear, believed to be heading towards the 5th Police Precinct

After nearly six hours of being blocked by protesters, southbound I-35W near Lake Street is beginning to clear. Hundreds of protestors marched onto I-35 earlier this evening, although large groups have begun to move off the highway. MnDOT cameras for the exit are unable to be seen on the 511 website at this time. 

During the protest on I-35, a some people set a fire on the highway. Once the road began to clear, a pair of police officers reportedly put out the small fire.

A UPS truck attempted to pass through the protestors. Some people jumped on the truck, opened it and threw packages out.
