Six people are dead in a head-on collision early Friday morning on Interstate 90 in southeastern Minnesota.
The state patrol said they're still not sure which vehicle was going in the wrong direction when the crash happened at 1:30 a.m. at mile post 223 near Eyota in Olmsted County.
I-90 near Eyota is now open following a fatal crash this morning that took the lives of six people.Preliminary reports indicate a vehicle was going the wrong-way, heading eastbound, when it struck another vehicle heading westbound on I-90 near mile post 223.

August 2, 2019 There were three people in each car and no one survived the crash.
Names are not released.
The crash closed the westbound lanes between the Eyota and Hwy. 52 exits for about six hours.
The road reopened to traffic around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
