Budget talks will resume at the Minnesota State Capitol Tuesday afternoon, amid rising tensions among those involved.
Governor Tim Walz, House Speaker Melissa Hortman, and Senate Majority leader Paul Gazelka failed to come to an agreement after ten hours of meeting on Monday.
Speaker Hortman let her annoyances with Republicans be known in a Q & A session with reporters Tuesday morning.
"Making unilateral statements is not negotiating, and is not helpful."
Hortman was then asked if there were any other areas where House Democrats are looking at reductions, as Republicans had called Democrats out for offering zero cuts to taxes.
