Twins all-time great Joe Mauer isn't having trouble finding things to do since his retirement.

The St. Paul native has been named Grand Marshal for the King Boreas Grand Day Parade during the city's historic Winter Carnival.

The parade is on Saturday, January 26th.

They'll step off at 2:00 p.m. after Mauer takes part in the middle day of TwinsFest at Target Field, on the other side of the Mississippi River.

The parade begins near Smith Avenue off West Seventh. It will move eastbound down West Seventh Street and conclude at Kellogg Mall Park.

This is a revised route as 2019 Winter Carnival festivities are taking place in Kellogg Mall Park as Rice Park is being renovated.

Mauer retired after last season, his 15th with the team that made him the top pick in the 2001 baseball draft.

The Twins are retiring his uniform number 7.
