Jacqueline Towns, the mother of Timberwolves superstar Karl-Anthony Towns, has died due to complications from COVID-19. The family issued a statement through the Timberwolves.

Towns' announced on Instagram on March 25th that both his parents have been fighting COVID-19. His father has recovered from the virus.
