Healthcare, student debt, addiction and the enviroment just some of the issues tackled Monday night by Senator Amy Klobuchar during a Town Hall Meeting in Manchester, NH.

About 100 people took part in the meeting that was broadcast live on CNN.

Klobuchar broke from some of her Democratic competitors in a crowded field that has quickly drifted to the left, using what pundits are calling a more pragmatic tone.

One example during the meeting at St. Anselm College: the idea of Medicare for all.

"The best way we do that is something that we actually wanted to do back when we were looking at the Affordable Care Act, and we were stopped" she said. "Trying to get a public option in there. That is a way to provide a public alternative that's real."

Klobuchar told one voter that she would ask President Trump if he would follow the rule of law.

"I think this fundamental question, and pushing him on his view of the law is important, because, what I see, I don't like," Klobuchar said.

Earlier Monday, Klobuchar met with supporters at the Village Trestle restaurant in Goffstown, NH.

Her trip east comes after the Democrat spent two days stumping in Wisconsin and Iowa. That came after she declared her candidacy for president during a snowstorm at Boom Island in Minneapolis on Feb. 10.
