A deadly shooting investigation in Minneapolis.
A man was found shot to death on a sidewalk at 12th Avenue South and East Lake Street at around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. The victim has not been identified. Officers were called to a report of a man down. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
MPD spokesman John Elder says there are no arrrests.
"We do have information that an adult male suspect was seen fleeing the area on foot," he said. "Officers are following up with that lead."
Officers also spoke to any witnesses and are checking with nearby businesses if any surveillance video captured the shooting.
