A spokesperson for the team said "As with any rapidly evolving situation, we will continue to work closely with the League, experts and local health authorities to make sure we have the most up-to-date recommendations on how best to ensure the health and safety of our fans, players and staff.  If any necessary changes are needed, we will let our fans know as soon as possible and will provide further updates as they become available."

The team said that they will take extra sanitation measures including deep cleanings and disinfecting high touchpoint surfaces before, during and after our games, extra hygiene and safety training for staff and adding hand sanitizer stations throughout the stadium. The team also shared the CDC guidelines for preventative actions.

Today's announcement comes after the NCAA announced that it would bar fans from their championship tournaments this year and that the Mariners will be moving their series against the Twins out of Seattle and to a location that is to be determined.

The United (2-0-0) host the New York Red Bulls (1-1-0) on Sunday at 6pm at Allianz Field.
