The 45th reported homicide of 2019 in Minneapolis happened Sunday night on the south end of the city.
Officers were alerted to shots fired near Portland and Franklin avenues around 8:30 p.m.
That's where they found the body of a man in his 40's inside an apartment building.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The ID of the victim is not released and there are no arrests.
