Violent storms slammed Minnesota for a second straight weekend with four tornadoes reported starting Friday night according to the National Weather Service in Chanhassen.

The strongest of the twisters, an EF-1, touched down in southern Washington County on Saturday night. That tornado traveled 9.5 miles at 100 MPH and broke-up in Pierce County, Wisconsin.

"Extensive tree damage was reported throughout that path," said National Weather Service meteorologist Brent Hewitt. "Many of the trees were snapped in half. The heaviest damage happened at the top of a bluff near the St. Croix River into Wisconsin. A few farm out building were damaged as well."

No injuries were reported in the weekend storms.
